Things are the fence between indices; the Dow 30 seemed to have struggled a bit to gain bullish traction while the more "modern" indexes gained some momentum. Wake me up when the action starts again.
Dow Jones 30: 34,479.60 (-0.80%, year-to-date: 12.65%)
S&P 500: 4,247.44 (0.41%, year-to-date: 13.08%)

Taxes for the upper echelon
You might have heard of the Elon tweet about the whole lack of taxing the ultra-wealthy. Technically, it was a tweet in response to another tweet, saying that taxes would force a massive bulk sale of stock, pushing prices down and affecting investors like you and me. He said something along the lines of "I sell Tesla stock is when my stock options are expiring and I have no choice." What do you think?
Popular and controversial subreddit WallStreetBets (WSB, for short), has been on the radar for some time, with news tracking what's being talked about the most including AMC, Gamestop (GME), Blackberry (BB), and couple others. I wouldn't be surprised if the disadvantaged created jobs/roles just to monitor or engage WSB daily.
Latest on the pandemic around the world
Vietnam just approved an emergency use of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines to combat Covid. India is climbing the charts in the most reported infections in total at around 29 million, coming closer to the U.S.'s 33 million. 2.3 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered, which means an estimated 1.15 billion to 2.3 billion PEOPLE are vaccinated to some extent.
Looking back: Pinterest (PINS)
Pinterest is one of those sub-$100 per share companies we like to keep an eye in. Although it could still be considered one of the new kids on the block since its IPO in early-mid 2019, it's been a relatively productive company since its inception. It's not a bad idea to look at a younger company to invest in so along as you're not going in blind (you have some insight on how productive the company is) and as long as you diversify.

Year-to-date, Pinterest seemed to have struggled a bit, but the last month indicates some investor appetite. We can't stress this enough; if you're waiting to see whether or not PINS crosses the $100 threshold, make sure you have a handful of other fundamentally sound stocks to fall back on.
